M�s pronto than you can say "All rise!" Concha y yo rushed out into the hallway to see what was the matter.

An alarming escena made us stop in our tracks. At our feet, right outside the audici�n room doorway, two young women were engaged in ruthless mortal combat. The carpet around the two snarling, brawling women was sembrada with bits of nail jewelry, clumps of artificial hair, and broken goldtone chains. A group of fellow auditioners had formed a semicircle around the pair and were yelling encouragements and insultos.

Meanwhile, the combatants themselves were engaged in a heated exhange of ideas. "I'll fucking kill you, whore!" one of them was chillando. "You mess around with my man, bitch, you pay!" The other's response was muffled, as her dientes were locked into her opponent's leg, but it sounded algo like "Mu�rete!"

De repente, without so much as a c�mo est�n, Concha threw herself into the middle of the combate, her ojos blazing with righteous fury. "Break it up, you two!" she shouted, pulling one of the women by her hair extensions until her jaw went slack and she loosened her grip on the other woman's leg. The other woman jumped back when she saw Concha's powerful arm swinging toward her sequined tube top. "Not the implants!" she squealed, scuttling away in terror.

Just then, Cuticle Goth and the long-haired currutaco who'd been conducting the audition emerged from the adjacent room. "What the hell is going on out here?" Sr. Long Hair asked, clearly annoyed. His eyes came to rest on Concha, who towered over the two whimpering combatants like an Amazon.

"Your honor," said Concha without missing a beat, "this is case number 86 on your calendar. The witnesses have been sworn in and are ready to testify."
