I was going through the coupon section of the Times este fin de semana, buscando coupons for papel hig�nico, when I found this disquieting imagen:

I found this picture so profundamente disturbing, I had to find out more about it. What, I asked myself, could el artista have been thinking when he created this? Did he mean to attract me, or repel me? Was I supposed to relate in some way to the ni�os as they devoured their desayuno? Or was their gluttony meant to be admonestador?

Since Eduardo at work is such a sabelotodo, I took the picture to him for his dos centavos. He squinted at it in disbelief. "Where en demonios did you say you found this?" he asked. "This looks more like a panel in a Hieronymous Bosch triptych than a piece of commercial art."

�Mande? �Hieronymous qui�n? Well, that referencia went right over my head. For all I know, Eduardo was pulling my leg, like Pedro with his Vockner chiste. So I took the picture to Concha for su opini�n.

"Aaaiii," she screamed, taking a step backward. "Get that scary thing away from me! I'll have nightmares for weeks!"

In desesperation, I went online to see if I could find any other artwork by el mismo artista. After horas of searching, I came up with this:

Pretty similar, �no? But I am no closer to getting respuestas about the haunting, enigm�tica Mrs. Butterworth imagen.
